At Maiden Newton Station
Thank you to Gaynor, Giles and Barbara for their work in keeping the station pots and beds so
colourful. We met a representative of Network Rail and two from GWR at the Station on 15 July
to discuss increasing the seating on platform 2. The metal seat in front of the running in board is
being replaced with a GWR heritage wooden one and the existing metal one will be moved into the
waiting room to join the one already there to provide more shelter in bad weather.
(01300 320065) continues to take the bookings requesting help with transport to the
surgery, hospital appointments, dentists or opticians or attend COVID Vaccinations at Bridport.
